Diesel Truck Mechanic Light/Medium Duty

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Pay Range: $28 - $38/hr. (Based on Experience)

Schedule: Monday/Friday, 7:00 AM/3:30 PM | Optional Overtime Available

Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

Your Day-to-Day

Troubleshoot and repair engine, transmission, electrical, air, and hydraulic systems
Conduct PM service soil changes, filter swaps, brake checks, etc.
Perform full vehicle inspections to assess wear, damage, or safety concerns
R&R components such as bearings, air compressors, radiators, or oil pans
Use diagnostic tools and visual assessments to identify and fix common diesel issues
Keep your workspace clean, safe, and compliant with shop standards
Communicate clearly with parts and service teams to streamline workflow
Adjust to shifting priorities and work independently or collaboratively depending on the task

What You Bring

At least 5 years of general diesel repair experience (light/medium duty)
Your own complete mechanic tool setup (roll-away and portable cart)
Strong working knowledge of truck electrical, air, and hydraulic systems
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
A proven track record of showing up on time and getting the job done
Comfort working on brands like Ford, Freightliner, Peterbilt, or GM is a plus
