POSITION SUMMARY
The Department of Sociology and Criminology at Benedictine College invites applications for an Assistant Professor beginning in August 2026. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
We are seeking a teacher-scholar with a commitment to teaching excellence, professional development, student advising, and a willingness to engage in collaborative research projects with students and colleagues. The candidate needs to be qualified to teach either sociology or criminology (preferably both). The ability to teach courses in research methods (preferably with emphasis on quantitative or mixed methods) is desirable.
